Audit Log

Audit logs record all actions performed by users across different modules, such as logging in, viewing, adding, editing, deleting, logging out, and other activities.

Benefits:
  1. Provide visibility into user behavior to ensure compliance.
  2. Identify suspicious behavior, unauthorized modifications in application settings, and potential security breaches.
  3. Optimize server resources by analyzing peak login times.
  4. Improve business processes based on user interaction data.
 
Role Required: SDAdmin
Audit logs are not supported for the Problems, Assets, CMDB, and Purchases modules. 
  

View Audit Log 

To view audit logs, go to Setup > Data and Administration > Audit Log.

This page provides an overview of user actions, the user's IP address, the module where the actions were taken, and additional information.

 List View Actions

  1. You can perform the following actions on the log.
  2. Search through each column of the log using .
  3. Add or remove columns from the list view using .
  4. Adjust the number of log entries displayed on the page using .
  5. View the total number of log entries and the number of log entries on the page using .
  6. Navigate through the log pages using the  icons.
  7. Refresh the log using.
  8. View log entries recorded within a specific time frame using the time filter . You can choose a predefined time range from the drop-down or set a custom time range.
