Configure SCCM Credentials

Role Required: SDAdmin
 
Organizations that use AssetExplorer might also use Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage Windows-based applications.
 
SCCM can be integrated with AssetExplorer to scan and fetch asset data.

To configure SCCM credentials,
  1. Navigate to Admin > Discovery > Credentials Library.
  2. Click Add New Credential.
  3. A New Credential pop-up opens.
  4. Select the Credential Type as SCCM.
  5. Enter the Name and the Description.
  6. Choose the Authentication Mode.
  7. For Windows as the Authentication Mode, provide the Domain, Username, and Password.
  8. For SQL as the Authentication Mode, provide the Username and Password.
  9. Click Save Credential.

 
With SCCM database servers of all sites in a single location, you can easily update the credentials when required. You can also save separate SCCM credentials for different sites.
