Configure SNMP V3 Credentials
Role Required: SDAdmin
SNMP V3 credentials are used for scanning network devices like printers, routers, and switches.
To configure SNMP V3 credentials,
- Navigate to Admin > Discovery > Credentials Library.
- Click Add New Credential.
- A New Credential pop-up opens.
- Select the Credential Type as SNMP V3.
- Choose either MD5 or SHA for the Authorization Protocol and DES or AES-128 for the Encryption Protocol.
- Once the corresponding protocol is selected, enter the Authorization password and the Encryption password.
- Enter the SNMP Port number.
- Set the Timeout. This indicates the time after which the connection would be terminated.
- Set the count for Retries. This indicates the number of attempts that can be made before Timeout happens.
- Click Save Credential.
