Configure VMWare Scan Credentials

Configure VMWare Scan Credentials

Role Required: SDAdmin
 
VMWare scan credentials are used for scanning VMWare hosts.

To configure VMWare scan credentials,
  1. Navigate to Admin > Discovery > Credentials Library.
  2. Click Add New Credential.
  3. A New Credential pop-up opens.

  1. Select the Credential Type as VMWare.
  2. Enter Name and Description.
  3. Enter a Username and Password.
  4. Enter the HTTPS Port number.
  5. Set the Timeout. This indicates the time after which the connection would be terminated.
  6. Click Save Credential.
Roles required to scan VMware machines: To scan VMware machines, it is necessary to have the Propagate to all children and System [Root] options enabled for user roles on the machines.
