AssetExplorer users can integrate with Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage desktops and Windows-based applications. By integrating AssetExplorer with SCCM, technicians can retrieve SCCM-scanned asset data without the need for multiple agent installations.
AssetExplorer only reads information from the SCCM database and does not modify any data.
You can integrate AssetExplorer with multiple SCCMs.
SCCM will be able to fetch the following hardware and software details of the assets:

BIOS Information
Multi-media details

How does SCCM integration work?
AssetExplorer connects to the SCCM database server to retrieve asset data during scans. The data is then exported and uploaded into AssetExplorer. Matching static fields in AssetExplorer and SCCM, such as service tag, machine name, and domain, are used for machine identification. SCCM data is populated into corresponding asset fields and resource IDs are mapped to configuration Item IDs for future scans. Machines scanned by SCCM that are not identified in AssetExplorer will be added as new assets.
