How to perform a domain scan in AssetExplorer?

When you install and launch AssetExplorer for the first time, it automatically detects all domains within your network and neighboring networks of the server where it's installed. To view a list of all detected domains, go to Admin > Discovery > Windows Domain Scan.

What are the devices that can be scanned by AssetExplorer?

AssetExplorer allows you to perform scans on the devices within your organization's domains and networks. This includes Windows, Linux, MAC, Solaris, HPUX, AIX machines, VMWare, Hyper V devices, Cisco IP phones, and other SNMP-supported devices such as printers, routers, switches, etc.

How do I change the Endpoint Central server and port details in the agents deployed on client machines?

If agents are deployed on client machines and later the Endpoint Central server or port number is changed, the agents will fail to reach the server. You can rectify this by updating the Endpoint Central server name or port for the agents. Refer here for the port details.

Will the agentless scan be supported?    

We strongly recommend that you do not use an agentless scan. However, if you still want to use an agentless scan, refer to this link.
