AssetExplorer allows you to configure different scanning schedules to scan assets periodically.
You can configure the settings to schedule a scan under Admin > Discovery > Schedule Scan.
Schedule agent-based UEM scan:
Enable this option to schedule agent-based scanning of IT assets such as Windows, Linux, and Mac machines.
Fill out the following fields:

| Choose the frequency to schedule the scan.

| Set the scan start time.

Time Zone
| Select the time zone of the domain/network.

| Select the recurrence pattern. The available options may vary based on the frequency selected.

Schedule agentless scan:
Enable Schedule agentless scan option to schedule scanning of IT assets such as Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, VMware, Cisco IP Phone, and SNMP-supported network devices.
Choose a scan frequency and set the recurrence pattern accordingly.
Agentless scan uses DNS to scan network machines from the server, scanning 10 at a time. Machines must be powered on and within network reach for a successful scan.
Scan History Cleanup
Enable this option and specify the duration after which scanned information can be cleaned.
Scan New Devices Added to the Network
Enable this option and define the recurrence pattern for re-scanning the domain/network.
View History
Access View History to review all activities related to scheduling scans, cleaning scan history, and re-scanning the domain/network.
Activities associated with UEM agent scans won't be logged in the history.
