Introduction - SNMP Configuration
Using this feature, you can configure and map Object IDs (OIDs) to SNMP device attributes.
How does SNMP scan work?
When you scan an SNMP device, its sysOID is initially fetched. The sysOID uniquely identifies the device's model name, product type, and manufacturer. Once the device is identified, the inventory is initiated to fetch values of the device attributes, including asset additional fields, configuration item (CI) attributes, and default fields.
