Configure SysOIDs


Role Required: SDAdmin
 
To configure sysOIDs, go to Admin > Discovery > SNMP Configurations > Device Identification

Under this tab, you can manually add sysOIDs and edit available ones.


 

Add a New SysOID  

Under the Device Identification tab, click New. Enter the model name, select a product type and a manufacturer, type a sysOID, and click Save.  
 You can create a new product type and a manufacturer using the Plus (+) icon 
 

Edit a SysOID  

Under the Device Identification tab, click a model to edit its related information. You can edit all details, including sysOID, model, product type, and manufacturer.

Configure Product for Unknown SysOIDs  

Devices discovered during the scan will not be identified if their sysOIDs are not available in the application.
 
New sysOIDs will be added under Admin > Discovery > SNMP Configurations > Configure product for Unknown SysOIDs.
 
Here, you can manually associate related information, such as model, product type, and manufacturer with the sysOIDs. Once configured, the sysOID will be moved to the Device Identification tab.
