SolarWinds Integrations


This integration allows you to import scanned asset data such as network devices, workstations, and servers from SolarWinds to AssetExplorer.

Role Required: SDAdmin

To configure the integration,
  1. Go to Admin > Apps & Add-ons > Integrations > Third Party
  2. On the SolarWinds Integration card, click Settings.
  3. Use the following pointers to configure the fields.
Fields
Explanation
Server name
Enter the machine name where the SolarWinds application is hosted.
In case SolarWinds and SWIS API servers are hosted on separate machines, provide the SWIS API machine details in this field. 
Username
Password
Enter the admin credentials of the SolarWinds application.
Start Date
Enter the start date for the data fetch schedule.
Scan Frequency
Configure how often the data should be fetched.
  1.  Click Test Connection and Save to integrate SolarWinds with AssetExplorer.

For unknown OIDs imported, you can select the Product Type manually under Admin > Discovery > SNMP Configurations > Configure product for unknown sysOID. The Model and Manufacturer details will be auto-populated from SolarWinds.
