Map View Actions

The Map view displays a pictorial representation of the CIs and its interdependencies. From the Map view, you can:
  1. Switch between different business views using the drop-down on the top-left.
  2. Add new relationships to CIs.
  3. Create new Business View.
  4. Export the business view as a PNG or PDF file.
  5. View the Business View details by clicking More Information.
 
Info
The information contained in the exported file/image will be limited to the extent to which relationships are expanded. 

Add Relationship in Map View   

The Map View illustrates the relationship between various CIs, starting from the base CI. You can add new relationships to the CIs from the Map View.
  1. Hover over the CI and click .
  2. Select a relationship type from the suggested/custom relationships tab.
  3. Choose the destination CI.
  4. Click Associate.
Once you have mapped the relationship, click the Save or Save as to create a new business view with this relationship map.

 

Create Business Views 

  1. Click New Business View on the list or cards view.
  2. Select a base CI from the drop-down.
  3. Configure the relationships in the Map view and click Save business view.
  4. Provide a name for the Business View and enter a brief description for it.
  5. Choose the visibility of the Business View: Public or Private.
  6. If you choose visibility as Public, you can:
    1. Enable any technician to edit this view.
    2. Restrict technician visibility by site.

 You can create a maximum of 20 Business Views. Each Business View can contain up to 250 CIs.   
 

Edit or Delete Business Views 

You can edit the business view name and description from the list view and cards view.
 
From List View:
  1. Click against the Business View to edit it.
  2. Select the business views using the checkbox and click Delete.
 
From Cards View:
  1. Click against the business view and modify the relationship map.
