Add Technician

Add Technician


Role Required: SDAdmin

  1. Go to Admin > Organizational Details > Technicians and click Add New.
  2. Use the pointers below to configure the fields. 
Field Name
Explanation
Name fields
Enter first name, middle name, and last name.
Display Name*
Provide a unique display name.
Employee ID
Provide an employee ID.
Job Title
Provide a job title.
Department Name
Select the department to which the user belongs to.
This field is displayed only if departments are configured under Admin > Organizational Details > Department.
Phone
Add a phone number.
Mobile
Add a mobile number.
Business Impact
Select the impact the user has on your organization.
This field is displayed only if impact is configured under Admin > CMDB > Impact.
Description
Add a relevant description.
Primary Email
Add the primary email id.
Secondary Email IDs
Add secondary email ids if applicable.
SMS Mail ID
Add SMS email. Provided by mobile service providers.
Purchase Approver
Check this box to allow the user to approve purchase orders and set the approval limit within which the user can approve.
Associated Sites
Add the technician to one or more sites.
Reporting To
Enter the name of the user to whom should the new user should report to. You can also choose from an existing user by clicking the icon.
Login Name*
Provide a unique login name.
Password*
Enter a password
Retype Password*
Retype the password to confirm.
Domain
Select domain if applicable
Assigned Roles*
Assign roles to the technician.
API Key Details
Allow technicians to generate API keys.
UEM Product Plugin
Create a user with the same login credentials in UEM product applications.
