Add a Network

Add a Network

Role Required: SDAdmin

To add a network in AssetExplorer,
  1. Go to Admin > Discovery > Network Scan or click the Scan button in the header pane and navigate to Network Scan.
  2. Click Add New Network.

  1. Decide the Scan range. You can either scan the Entire Network or mention a specific IP Address Range for scanning.
  2. Enter the Network address.
Example:
To scan the entire network, the IP address should be mentioned such as 192.168.27.0 

To scan part of a network, the IP address range should be mentioned as 192.168.27.0 - 192.168.27.30 
  1. Provide a Description for the network.
  2. Windows, Linux, and Mac machines require Endpoint Central agents for scanning. Ensure the Agent Configuration field is enabled for this option.
  3. Configure network scan credentials for scanning various devices on the network. Click here to know more.
  4. Click Save (or) Save and Scan now to scan the network instantly.
