Configure Scan Credentials for a Network using Existing Scan Credentials 

1. In AssetExplorer, go to Admin > Discovery > Network Scan or click the Scan button in the header pane and navigate to Network Scan.
   
2. Select the network to which Scan Credentials are to be added from the network list view.
   
3. Select Scan Credentials from the Select Credential drop-downs.
   
4. Network scan credentials can be selected for the following devices:
   
1. Solaris HP-UX, and AIX machines
   
2. SNMP Devices
   
3. VMWare Devices
   
4. Cisco IP Phone
   
5. Click Save (or) Save and Scan now to scan the network instantly.
   

Configure New Scan Credentials 

1. In the network list view, Select the Network to which new scan credentials are to be added.
   
2. Click the Add New Credential icon displayed next to the devices you wish to add new credentials for.
   
3. Configure the credentials in the Add New Credential  Pop-Up displayed.
