Attachment Settings


Configure file attachment settings such as file size and file type and save location.
 
To configure these,
  1. Go to Admin > General Settings > Attachment Settings.
  2. Maximum attachment size (MB): Provide a numerical value to set the maximum size for the attachments.
  3. Configure custom location to save attachments and inline media files: Provide the preferred path to save the attachments.
  4. Validation Approach: Choose either Strict Mode or Lenient Mode.
  5. File attachment filtering: Configure the file attachment types you want to allow or restrict in the Include or Exclude box. To allow all file types, choose No Restriction.
  6. Enable Attachment Preview: Configure this option to allow preview of supported file attachments within the application.

Preview supported extensions: png, jpg, jpeg, ico, webp, gif, css, html, xml, htm, js, ts, xhtml, es, txt, tsv, mp4, ogv, webm, ogg, mp3, wav, csv, pdf, docx, xls, xlsx.
Only attachments with the selected extensions can be previewed. Files with other extensions must be downloaded to view.
Application must be restarted to apply the saved settings.
  1. Click Save.
 


 
To view the changes made to the configurations, click View History in the top-right corner.
