Software Category


Software categories help in classifying applications based on their intended use.

Role Required: SDAdmin
 

Add a Software Category 

To add a new software category,
  1. Go to Admin > Software > Software Category.
  2. Click New Software Category.
  3. Provide a name and description.
  4. Finally, click Add Software Category.

 

 Edit or Delete Software Type 

  1. To edit a software category, click beside the software category, make changes as required and click Update Software Category.
  2. To delete a software category, click beside the software category, and confirm your action.
Default software categories cannot be edited or deleted.
