Scheduling Reports

Scheduling Reports

Schedule report settings allow you to automatically generate multiple reports at a scheduled time. These reports can be generated in PDF, XLS, XLSX, HTML, Inline HTML, or CSV formats and can be sent via email.

Role Required: SDAdmin, Technicians with Complete Access to reports.

To schedule reports,
  1. Go to the Reports tab and click New Schedule Report in the left pane.
  2. Choose the frequency for the schedule: Generate Once, Daily Report, Weekly Report, or Monthly Report.
  3. Set the day and time during which the report has to be generated.
  4. Select the report(s) that you would like to schedule. You can schedule up to five reports.
  5. Select a file format to generate the report.
  6. Specify the email IDs for sharing the generated report via email, along with the email subject and message.
  7. Click Save.

If a technician is removed from the application, the ownership of the scheduled reports will be transferred to the technician who has removed the user.
Multiple scheduled reports are combined into one encrypted ZIP file with a single password entry. Login users can use their login ID, while non-login users can use a common password set by the admin in Privacy Settings
Technicians will receive email notifications in the following scenarios:
 - If there is no data available for report generation
-  If a schedule is edited/deleted by a technician
 - If a report fails to generate due to an internal error
