Print and test barcodes without assigning the code to an asset. You can test the label properties in print without generating the codes for assets.
This feature is also beneficial in printing barcodes that are already existing but are worn out or faded. Unprinted barcodes can also be printed from this section.
You can print codes using manual or sequential method.
Manual Method
Enter the values to be converted as codes manually by separating them with commas.
- Go to the Manual tab.
- Enter the values to be converted as codes. You can enter multiple values by separating them with commas.
- Select the label property. Click
to add a new label property. You can preview the barcode in the UI.
- Click Print. Use Test Print to print the first row of the barcode label.
Sequential Method
Generate consecutive barcodes based on the starting value provided by you.
- Go to the Sequential tab.
- Enter the Prefix and Suffix. You can use alphanumeric or special characters.
- Enter the value with which the barcode generation must begin.
- Specify the number of barcodes to be generated in the Count field.
- Select the label property. Click
to add a new label property. You can preview the barcode in the UI.
- Click Print. Use Test Print to print the first row of the barcode label.

We recommend testing the barcode print before printing barcodes in bulk.
Unprinted Barcodes
View and print barcodes that were saved earlier but not printed. The unprinted code entries will be listed with a summary of their details.
- Go to Unprinted Barcodes tab.
- The unprinted barcodes will be listed. You can filter the entries based on site or search through the unprinted codes using keywords.
- Hover over an entry and click
.
- Select the type of code and label property in the pop-up. Click
to add a new label property. You can preview the barcodes in UI.
- Click Print. Use Test Print to print the first row of the barcode/QR code label.

Unclear labels are highlighted in yellow during preview and cannot be scanned properly. You can remove unclear barcodes from being printed.
