In asset list view you can perform the following operations:
Add New Asset - You can add IT assets, non-IT assets, or asset components from the list view.
Bulk Actions - In each asset product type, you can select multiple devices and click Actions to perform any of the following operations:
- Modify asset product type or asset state
- Configure depreciation
- Group related assets
- Assign asset to users or site/department
- Merge assets
- Exclude assets from scan or change the asset's scan credentials
- Change workstation/virtual devices as server
- Auto-assign workstations to users
- Troubleshoot unaudited workstations
The operations displayed under the Actions menu vary according to the selected asset product type.
Scan IT Asset - Click New Scan to fetch details of all IT assets in AssetExplorer.
Apply Filters - Display specific assets in the asset list view page based on certain parameters by clicking Filters. Depending on the asset product type, you can apply the following filters:
- IT Assets (except workstations and servers), Non-IT Assets, and Asset Components - Filter based on asset state, assignment/depreciation and product types.
- Workstations, Servers - Filter based on asset state, assignment/depreciation, and domains.
- Virtual Hosts - Filter based on VM types.
- Virtual Machines - Filter based on VM types.
Disposed assets can be tracked only by selecting Disposed Assets in the assignment/depreciation filter or via global search.
Disposed assets will not be listed when applying filters based on product types or domains.
Choose Columns to be displayed - Click
to customize the columns displayed on the list view.
Sort Assets Listed - Click a column name to sort the assets listed based on the column value.
View Relationship Map - The relationship map provides a consolidated view of the related assets. Click
icon beside an asset to view its relationship to other assets/CIs.
