IT Services
The various services offered by the assets that are utilized in the organization are tracked as IT services. Asset managers can understand the impact of asset failures on the affected services from the relationship maps or business views.
Add IT Service
Click Add New Service and fill out the form as explained below.
Field | Description |
Name | Provide a unique name for the service. This is mandatory. |
Site | Choose the site where the service is available. |
Service Support Hours | Specify the time or hours when support is provided for the service. |
Availability Target(%) | Specify the percentage of time the service availability is planned. |
Cost | Enter the cost incurred for the service. |
Department | Specify the department where the IT service is consumed. |
Business Impact | Select how the service affects business operations. |
Business Criticality | Select how important the service impacts is relevant to business operations. |
Managed By | Select the user who manages the IT service. |
Incident restoration target | Briefly explain how soon the service should be restored in the event of disruption. |
Description | Describe the IT service purpose and usage. |
Click Save.
List View Operations
- Edit IT Service - Click
beside an IT service name.
- View Relationship Map - Click % beside an IT service name.
- Delete IT Service - Select the IT services and click Delete on the toolbar.
