Introduction - Asset Loan

Asset Loan enables technicians to lend and manage assets in a systematic and efficient manner. The feature includes the following capabilities:
  1. Mark assets and components as loanable.
  2. Loan and return assets/components in bulk.
  3. View assets and components with expired loan periods in a separate list view.
  4. Trigger notifications when assets or components are loaned, returned, extended, or when the loan period expires.
  5. Add assets or components to New Loan or Return Loaned Asset by scanning their barcodes or searching for them manually.

Role Required: SDAdmin

To configure asset loan notifications, go to Admin > Organization Details > Notification Rules > Asset and enable the notifications under Asset Ownership and Loan Notifications. Learn more.
Notifications are sent to the technicians based on their site permissions. Technicians will receive notifications regarding assets only from the sites they are associated with.
