Impact

Impact

Impact is a measure of criticality during an outrage or change in the CI. It is a key attribute while adding a CI to identify the level of impact caused by the CI downtime. The impact caused by a CI on other CIs can also be identified from the relationship map.

Add Impact for a CI

  1. Go to Admin > CMDB > Impact.
  2. Click Add New Impact.
  3. Provide Name and Description.
  4. Click Save or Save and Add New.

View, Edit, or Delete Impact

All impact types are listed under the impact configuration page. To access it, go to Admin > CMDB > Impact.
  1. To view or edit a impact, click the name or edit icon. To edit, make necessary changes and click Save.
  2. To delete, select one or more impact using the checkboxes and click Delete
