Create Business Views

Create a Business View from CMDB landing page:

  1. In list view or cards view, click New Business View.
  2. Select a base CI from the combo box.
  3. The business view window opens up where you can configure relationships with other CIs. Existing relationships with other CI will be auto-populated. Use the  to expand/contract the relationships.
  4. Hover over the CI and click to add a new relationship.
  5. After adding relationships, return to the business view window.
  6. Click Save business view.

  1. Enter the View Name. This is mandatory.
  2. Provide a description, if necessary.
  3. Set the business view accessibility as Private or Public.
    1. If the business view accessibility is set as public, you can allow other technicians to edit the business view.
    2. You can also restrict the business view to certain sites.

 
You can create a maximum of 20 business views. Each business view can contain up to 250 CIs. 
 You can export business views as PNG or PDF. 

Create a business view from the Assets relationship tab:

You can save the relationship map configured in Assets tab as business views in CMDB
