Go to
Contracts tab and click
New Contract. Alternatively, you can create a contract by using
Quick Actions 
menu on the application header.
Step 1: Specify the contract details
- Provide a unique name to your contract. (Character limit: 100)
- If your contract has a dependency on another contract, select the parent contract.
- Enter a contract identification number.
- Provide a short description of the contract.
- Choose your contract type (lease/maintenance/support/warranty) from the drop-down.
- Choose the Vendor from the drop-down. Click
to add a new vendor.
- Select Renewed Contract if the contract was renewed from an existing contract.
- Enter the details regarding the support that will be provided by the vendor.
Step 2: Add the related asset details
- Click Add Assets to select the assets for which the contract applies. The selected assets are displayed below in a dialog box.
- Select the period for which the contract applies in the From and To fields.
- Enter the maintenance cost of the selected assets in terms of dollars.
Step 3: Enable notifications
- Select Enable Notifications checkbox to send the configured notifications to the relevant users.
- Select the users you wish to notify from the User List and move them to Users to be Notified list using the >> icon.
- Specify the email IDs of users who must be notified when the contract nears its expiry date.
- Specify the number of days before which the selected users must be notified of the contract's expiry. You can specify multiple email reminders using the
icon.
If there are any additional fields configured by your administrator, enter the details accordingly and click Save.
