CI Status

CI Status 

CI status denotes the current state of a CI in an organization. Admins can monitor the health and other attributes of CIs by configuring CI Status.
AssetExplorer comes with certain default statuses such as Clear, Not Monitored, Attention, Trouble, Critical, etc. for CIs. 

To create a new CI Status,
  1. Go to  Admin > Customization > CMDBCI Status.
  2. In the list view, click .
  3. Provide a unique name to identify the status.
  4. Select a color to denote the status using the color palette.
  5. Describe the status usage and purpose.
  6. Click Save or Save and Add New.

Info
 If devices are synced from OpManager as CIs, the device status will also be synced as CI status. 

List View Operations 

  1. Search through the list view columns using
  2. Use the filter drop-down to view CI status based on their availability (active or inactive). 

  1. Click the against a CI status to edit or delete it.
  2. To delete multiple statuses, select them using the checkboxes and click .
Info
If a CI status is deleted while it is in use, it will be marked as inactive. You can restore an inactive CI status by editing it.
