CI Details Page

  1. Go to the CMDB tab.
  2. On the left pane, select the CI type.
  3. Click a CI name on the list view to view its complete specifics.
The details page displays all the CI information in the following tabs. Depending on the CI type selected, the tabs displayed vary.

CI Info - Provides the basic CI details and additional details of the CI that are managed in the Assets tab.


Hardware - Displays the hardware details captured when a CI is created or during subsequent scans. This tab is displayed only for Workstations, Virtual Machines, and Virtual Hosts.

Virtual Machines - View the various virtual machines created and hosted on the virtual host server.

Software - Lists software and service packs added manually to assets or fetched during scan. You can delete unrelated software or service packs by selecting them and clicking . This tab is displayed only for Workstations, Virtual Machines, and Virtual Hosts.

System - Various user accounts created in the CI are fetched during scan and displayed here. This tab is displayed only for Workstations, Virtual Machines, and Virtual Hosts.

Relationships - Add and view the relationship of the CI with other CIs. Learn more.


Contracts - View the contracts associated with the CI. Learn more.


Financials   - Manage the cost incurred by the CI and the depreciation rate.
 

History - View the CI history, and the asset ownership history. You can click an entry to expand/contract it.



Based on the selected CI type, some tabs may not be displayed. 
Some CIs have additional tabs such as Hardware, Software, and System.
