Change Scan Credentials - CMDB
Update authentication details used for scanning and discovering assets.
- Go to the CI details page. To bulk update credentials, select the CIs on the list view.
- Go to Actions > Change Scan Credential.
- Choose how the credential must be applied:
- Network Mode - Select a network (IP address/range) to authenticate and scan the devices.
- Use Credentials - Select credentials from the credential library to authenticate the devices.
- Click Save or Save and scan now.
Changes in scan credentials for CIs created from assets will also be updated to the corresponding assets.
This operation is not available for non-IT assets and asset components added as CIs.
