Yes, Endpoint Central service will automatically start and stop along with AssetExplorer service.
After our recent AssetExplorer upgrade, I see a notification insisting me to upgrade the Endpoint Central server? Is it mandatory? (or) Should Endpoint Central be upgraded separately for subsequent service packs?
Endpoint Central server is another application from ManageEngine. While upgrading AssetExplorer, Endpoint Central might also require upgrades for compatibility reasons.
In such cases, a message will be displayed post-upgrade in AssetExplorer to notify the compatible build number and the service pack of Endpoint Central. This upgrade has to be performed manually.
How to upgrade UEM agent?
UEM agent will be updated automatically by the application.
