Attach Assets /Asset Components
Add relationships between assets and other assets/components to explain their dependencies and associations.
The attached assets will be displayed under Relationships in the asset details page.
Role Required: SDAdmin, SDSiteAdmin, Technicians with Add/Edit Assets permissions.
- In the Assets tab, select your preferred asset classification - IT Asset, Virtual Hosts and VMs, or Non-IT Assets.
- Select the asset product type.
- On the asset list view, click the asset name to go to the details page.
- Go to Actions menu and select the relevant action:
- Attach Assets - Select the assets to be attached.
- Attach Components - Select the asset components to be attached.
- Click Attach.

You can filter the assets/components displayed based on product types, products, or asset states.
Click View Attached Assets to view or detach assets/components that were previously attached.
