Add Label Properties

Add Label Properties

Label properties define the properties of barcodes while printing.
  1. Click beside the Label Property field.
  2. Enter a property name for the label property and add a description, if needed.
  3. Enter the label height and width in inches.
  4. Enter the printer resolution value in DPI.
  5. Specify the number of labels required in a row and the gap between the labels in millimeters.
  6. Select the site to associate with the label.
  7. Click Save Property.

The label property is specific to sites and can be accessed only by technicians from that particular site.
It is not recommended to have a barcode character count greater than 20. In unavoidable scenarios, you can opt for a sticker size greater than 2.5 inch.
The size of the sticker depends on the number of barcode characters used.
Only Code 128 symbology is supported.
Due to some third-party browser restrictions and for better clarity in the printed labels, it is recommended to limit the characters in the barcode between 8-10 for an 1 inch sticker and 12 for an 1.5 inch sticker.
