Add Components to Group

Add Components to Group

Types of asset groups in Asset Explorer:
Static Group: Add the relevant assets to the group manually.
Dynamic Group: Assets matching certain criteria are added to the group automatically.

Create Asset Group         

  1. Go to Assets > Groups > Add New Group.
  2. Enter a unique group name. This is mandatory.
  3. Describe the group.
  4. Select the group type: static or dynamic.
  5. Click Save.

 Add Components to Groups         

 Static Group 

  1. Go to the component list view, and select the components using the check boxes.
  2. Click Actions > Add to Group.
  3. You can choose a static group from the drop-down, or create a new static group by enabling the respective radio button.
  4. Click Save.

Dynamic Group  

Components matching certain criteria are added to the dynamic group automatically. For that, you must define the component criteria while creating the group.
  1. Define the component criteria using the relevant drop-down menus.
